• The Monash Brain and Behaviour project aims to understand how people differ in traits that contribute to risk and resilience for mental illness, and to understand how genes and brain function contribute to these differences. The findings from this study may inform the development of strategies for identifying people at risk of psychiatric disorders, such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and substance abuse. This research may also contribute to the development of more effective early intervention and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
